We have been following the presidential campaigns closely for months and offering background webinars about the U.S. political system to our members. The election day is almost here. Right after the election we are offering one more webinar where our expert panelists from Cleveland will discuss the immediate reactions of the election.

Join us for a live panel discussion to gauge the temperature in Cleveland and the U.S. following the events of the election day. Our panelists Erika Anthony, Dan Moulthrop and Bride Rose Sweeney are discussing the election, their initial reactions, and the preliminary results or predictions.
Erika, Dan and Bride Rose work on the campaigns and regularly engage with everyday people on the topic of the election. A Q&A session will follow after the panel discussion.

Erika Anthony is the Executive Director of the Ohio Transformation Fund (OTF). OTF’s mission is to strengthen electoral engagement and policy reform efforts in Ohio to support healthier and more equitable communities. Erika has extensive experience in fund development and pushing for state and local policy change on behalf of organizations focused on racial equity, civic engagement, and transforming the criminal punishment system.
Erika also co-founded Cleveland VOTES, a year-round nonpartisan voter mobilization initiative focused on equitable civic engagement. Erika holds a B.S. in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Public Administration from the Maxine G. Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University.
Since 2013, Dan Moulthrop has served as the Chief Executive Officer of the City Club of Cleveland. The City Club was founded in 1912 and is considered one of the United States’ great free speech forums, renowned for its tradition of debate and discussion.
Dan was a former radio host and co-author of the best-selling book Teachers Have It Easy: The Big Sacrifices and Small Salaries of America’s Teachers. He is an award-winning journalist, a former high school teacher, and a graduate of the University of California Berkeley.
Bride Rose Sweeney is a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 14th District in western Cuyahoga County, Ohio, encompassing Wards 16 and 17 of the City of Cleveland as well as the suburbs of Brooklyn, Brook Park, Middleburg Heights, and Parma Heights (cities surrounding Cleveland).
She is the first woman elected to represent that district and the youngest Democratic member of the 133rd Ohio General Assembly. Sweeney (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the Ohio House of Representatives to represent District 14. She is on the ballot in the general election on November 3, 2020.
